About Me
I am a full clinical member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (U.K.C.P.) and The Site for Contemporary Psychoanalysis and a qualified psychoanalytic supervisor. For more information about the U.K.C.P and The Site, click on their logos.
I am a Senior Psychotherapist and co-director at The Psychosis Therapy and Usemi Project, an innovative talk-therapy and clinical community project for those living with psychosis and/or experiencing racial trauma. You can visit the Project's website, here.
Between 2017 and 2023 I was the Senior Psychotherapist at St. Mungo's Community Housing Association, working with economically and socially excluded adults experiencing homelessness, across East London.
Between 2014 and 2017 I supervised art therapists at the supportive arts community, Studio Upstairs. You can read about the Studio, here.
I currently serve on the Editorial Board of the British Journal of Psychotherapy. You can visit the journal's website, here.
I regularly publish on psychotherapy, present at conferences and teach on psychoanalytic training programs across London. I have a special experience teaching on therapeutic technique, sexuality, psychosis, complex trauma and practicing psychotherapy in non-traditional and challenging settings.
From 2008 to 2016, I worked in south London as a social housing advocate and mentor for young people from economically and socially marginalised communities, helping them challenge exclusion and stigmatisation by mainstream services and to escape the cycles of violence and homelessness they were often abandoned to.
